About WNR

The Warsaw Negotiation Round is an international negotiation tournament held on April 11- 14, 2019 in Warsaw, Poland.

The Warsaw Negotiation Round 2019 is the tenth edition of the tournament. This competition is one of the few worldwide events in Central Europe, and the very first in its field, which involves students representing leading law and business schools from all over the world. In general, twelve teams compete in the tournament. Each consists of three members.
It is organized by the Negotiation Society at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The event will take place at the leading business school in Poland – SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

This year we will celebrate the decade of our tournament. The event will start on Thursday with a conference where international experts from the negotiation sphere will deliver speeches and conduct workshops for the interested audience. The conference is not mandatory for participants, however we vividly invite You to take part in it. The tournament as such will start on Friday with an opening ceremony, and will last until Sunday evening- where the winners will be announced on an official banquet. During these three days teams will compete between each other across four rounds which enable them to qualify for the final round. They will be evaluated by our Jury composed by worldwide known experts of negotiation and communication environment, special guests and the author of the scenario.

Each team has the opportunity to compare and improve their negotiation skills by dealing with realistic business scenarios. These skills are crucial in the daily business environment. The tournament encourages teams to test their team spirit, as well as the ability to work under pressure. Since the tournament has a global character, participants have the opportunity to meet and share experiences with fellow students from other countries and cultures.
